KNOWLEDGE in the INFORMATION SOCIETY
( aspects of a problem)

We frequently use the term ⌠knowledge■ not reflecting at all about its value. The tendencies of many states to construction in the countries of the information societies, i.e. societies, available manifold information generators, grounded on a free usage in world, are well-known with the purpose of its creative processing and transformation in knowledge.

Definitions of the term ⌠knowledge■ further are given.

The information appears as the dynamic form of existence of knowledge providing distribution and social operation last. The modern man should own different knowledge, among which in the information society most significant become its abilities to discover the information and to process it for acceptance of the most different solutions (from home up to state).

Any individual, on the one hand, creates new knowledge, with another, √ permanently uses accumulated the society for centuries-old period of existence by experience, by knowledge and it is not so much for sufficing own desires and needs, how many with the purpose of positioning itself on a labour market. His knowledge constitutes his information spare and potential or how generally accepted to speak, √him Information resource (IR).

Further problems, bound with informatization, assignment of knowledge in the information society, primary goals, role of knowledge and possibility of their implementation by each individual in the information society are considered in more detail.
